The FX Wildcat MKIII is a lightweight and compact Pre-Charged Pneumatic (PCP) bullpup air rifle known for its balance, precision, and adjustability. It was released in 2020 as an upgrade to the popular Wildcat platform, featuring internal and external enhancements that increase its power and versatility for modern airgunners. 

Key features
  • AMP Regulator: The externally adjustable AMP (Adjustable Match Precision) regulator provides a very flat power curve throughout the shot cycle for consistent velocity and accuracy. Some models, such as the 
    Wildcat MKIII BT
    , even feature a dual-regulator system.
  • Adjustable power settings: A 7-position macro hammer spring tension adjuster allows for quick, large adjustments to the rifle's power. It also includes micro-adjustment capability for more fine-tuned power and velocity settings.
  • Superior STX barrel system: The 
    Wildcat MKIII
     features FX's Superior Smooth Twist X (STX) barrel liner system. This technology allows users to swap out barrel liners to change the bore specifications and twist rate for different ammunition, including heavier slugs.
  • Large-capacity magazine: It is compatible with FX's high-capacity Side-Shot magazines, which more than doubles the shot count compared to previous Wildcat models. The magazine is also cross-compatible with other FX rifles like the Crown and Dreamline.
  • Enhanced valving and plenum: FX improved the internal block with a larger plenum and enhanced valving, which boosts airflow and provides more power and efficiency. This is particularly beneficial when shooting heavier projectiles.
  • Bullpup design: As a bullpup, the 
    Wildcat MKIII
     has a shorter overall length while retaining a full-length barrel, making it lightweight and easy to handle in the field.

The FX Wildcat MKIII is available in several configurations, including: 
  • Wildcat MKIII Compact
    : The most compact version, featuring a shorter barrel and air cylinder.
  • Wildcat MKIII Sniper
    : A longer version with a longer barrel and higher air capacity for increased shot count and velocity.
  • Wildcat MKIII BT (Bottle)
    : A version that replaces the standard air cylinder with a larger carbon fiber or aluminum bottle for maximum air volume and power.
